Every year, our Dominique always look forward to her birthday which is every 17th Novermber. She would often complain to me why her birthday is the last one in the family. So to make her feel better, I would always say to her, it is because, we save the best for last, he he he. Good thing also because, it was a national holiday here in Singapore due to Hari Raya Haji, thus there were all the more reasons for our family to have a great time.
Few weeks before, I was already planning a small birthday party for her at the house with just some of here close friends and classmates, I already bought some stationery souveneirs and even invitations. Then last minute Dominique, decided she does not want to have any, but instead just us (the family). She wanted us to surprise her on her special day. Thus, I had to change the plan. Instead of having a party at the house, I decided to have a whole day family celebration for my darling Dominique.
The plan:
- Wake her up with a surprise Birthday Gift
- Breakfast will be her favorite crunchy chicken and spaghetti
- Daddy, Nica, and Ysha got compass point to play at Timezone
- Lunch at the house while giving her 2nd surprise gift
- Watch a Movie at Downtown East
- Blowing of Cake (from Swensen - Dominique favorite Ice cream cake)
- Finally giving her another surprise Birthday gift
